love your reviews man. any chance you'd take a look at The Saboteur?
how did you get this to run. it keeps crasing on windows 11
gauntlet only needs 4 classes and 4 colours. what SHOULD make it feel full is the amount of content you actually play
4:00 - You could unlock AT-STs in the original Rogue Squadron!
As a fan of the series especially the original, Twin Snakes is my absolute favorite
Personally I feel that the camera is an extra unnecessary opponent in ALL third-person games, so I try to stick to first-person games, more specifically; FPS games. But that's just my preference.
💎
Great review! As you say, it’s not a bad game. It’s just a bad Hitman game. It was bold enough to try to evolve but thankfully, they went back to their roots.
I own this for the Xbox 360. Asides from being happy its backwards compatible, I also completed about 90% of the game by myself due to not having internet at the time.
I wish a remastered RTX version would get developed
Great spin off game if you like hack and slash games you don’t have to play all the games in the series to understand whats happening.
I loved cod 3. My favourite camping of all time
Yeah, I think I beat the entire game without knowing about Ripper Mode.
Great game
Can you imagine starfox in an elite dangerous world?
This reminded me of your review to the first Ninja Gaiden game. Are you considering in reviewing the other games in that series?
I remember when this released on the SEGA Megadrive. Both my friend down the road and myself got a copy of it for Christmas from our respective parents (if I remember right, it retailed at £45 which was about normal for megadrive games back then, but we both played the hell out of it.) Definitely one of the best games on the Megadrive/Genesis, and I completely agree that the music is phenomenal
Ubisoft Montreal had much less of a budget to work with for their version of Double Agent than they did for Chaos Theory due to most of company resources being directed at the 360 version (version 1), so that's probably why you see the downgrade in level freedom. It's still far and away the superior version, though.
I adore everything about this game, except I'm not as stoked on the soundtrack as much as others. Music is fine, but the cheesy lyrics I can do without.
Im one of the few who genuinely did not enjoy this game very much. Not a bad game in general but after seeing what this game was supposed to be, Im extremely critical of this version of the game. They did the best they could though i guess
I have played Revengeance multiple times and still a top notch action hack and slash title and one of Platinum Games better works but the parrying is a hit and miss and the camera can be a problem at times when facing multiple goons. I hate those gorilla style enemies with a passion lol
It's an amazing tech demo. As game though... Unfinished with a dog shit story, mind boggling controls that are also shit, when you swing your sword in free aim or whatever it's called it feels so off and piss weak it's like swinging your club in a golf game. The Gray Fox missions in Metal Gear Solid: VR / Special Missions were better than this.
I love your remarks regarding difficult games! You are so honest, is beautiful to see! Hahahah
This game was my favorite Star Wars game during my childhood. Never played the sequels sadly
Me, beating this game every year since it came out: What? There are tutorials for the other game mechanics? Guess that's what I get for not playing the VR missions, but it shows the tutorials should have been more highlighted.
This game is so fantastic 😎
I recently found this channel and I gotta say his reviews are some of the best I’ve seen. He reviews a lot of old games that bring back nostalgia. He analyses games thoroughly and gives fair critiques, he makes sure not to give too much praise to good games and not to give too much hate towards bad games, if fact he sometimes tries very hard say something positive about a bad game. In the end even if the game doesn’t appeal to him he still recommends it because he can tell there is an audience that will enjoy the game.
one of the best channels on youtube for sure
Easily the best Metal Gear game, shame there's no sequel.
That's high praise
Stop it ... Your putting too much on it
I had so much fun playing this game if there is some things I love about this game and that is the gameplay and the music
Graphics 2005
Excellent review! This game will always be one of my GOATs, it's just pure madness.
The only metal gear game I’ve completed and absolutely loved it
Dude... really??? I'm not saying it's bad but it's certainly not the best of the lot
@@jaymoore5407 yeah I’m not saying it’s better than the others I just don’t like the gameplay of the main games
You’re missing out on actual great games by not finishing the others. Rising is fun and the combat is really great but story wise it’s a nothing burger compared to the main line games.
@@aadipie yeah I know.. ima give them another try cause I know they are great I just don’t care for the clunky gameplay but ima give it delta a go for sure when it comes out
This is the single greatest written game of all time. "This isn't my sword.." so tight!
First
How to piss off cops!! -> 4:50 <- 😂🤣😅 8:55 "C'mon, man!" is a famous Joe Biden quote! 😁😆
Holy Christ, get filtered. Did you even play the game or did you just copy paste Reddit posts? RE6 is the most underrated game in history. I can tell you don't even remotely know what you are talking about when you complain even about the voice acting, which not even the biggest "HUR RE6 BAED" brainlets will complain about. It's stellar.
I liked the on foot stuff. Sure the camera and controls could've been better, but I was just fun to be able to experience a 3D 3rd person action game set in the original trilogy timeline. How many games have that? Exactly.
The game play here really was great! I only wish they had made VR missions mode ala MGS1 and 2. That would’ve been so fun to just play around with the mechanics and use all the weapons. I suppose MGS online was there to replace which I get. I spent hours on that and it was great fun but a VR missions mode still would’ve been nice.
Never understood when this sentiment that linearity in games is bad. I often hear it as criticism in other reviewers. Something like splinter cell 1 and 2 are very satisfying when you pull off a chain of stealth encounters without needing to save and reload. I think your opinion that it "has no replay value" is misguided and a fault of your expectations rather than the games. Ive replayed both 1 and pandora tomorrow many times and still find it fun and engaging.
All ranges seems like it would get boring to me because not enough to differentiate between
lol Outlaw at 12:16
You're wrong about the Souls games. The Souls games get indeed easy after you see what's going on. With something like Contra or Ikaruga, even if you know what to do... it doesn't mean you're gonna be able to do it because these games demand precision and speed for long periods of time, in sequences that do not allow any mistakes to be made. Which is why you've never beaten one. You might know what to do... but you'll still won't have the skills to do it. In the Souls games are way more forgivable, you can make mistakes, you have time to breathe and they don't demand concentration and precision 100% of the godamn time. That's why EVERYONE can beat them. The avarage gamer can beat the Souls games if they want. In the case of Contra or Ikaruga... Nope. Even if you love the games, even if you play them for dozens of hours, you might still not be able to beat them (you're proof of that).
Since I recently brought a used PS3 for a number of reasons (my PS1 is showing its age, try Killzone, Resistance, and other exclusives I missed as a massive Halo fan, to play some games from this generation that aren’t backwards compatible on One/X), I might give this one a try. I’m a massive fan of the Goldeneye 007 reboot, but the poor reviews of this game turned me off when it launched, though I never saw anything really wrong with it.
I loved this game when growing up but now I can't stand to look at it for more than 5 minutes, I get dizzy and feel like puking. Anyone else have this problem?
It's not about days gone was a failure. It's because days gon on.They couldn't make no extra money off it
Sony still supports killer zone but sony won't support Days Gone? DAYS GONE WAS FUN and playable It's support these frustrated money making games. That's what they doing
I'm one of the ones that remembers how great this game was. We originally loved it because of the damage modeling (it's meh now, but it was top notch then). And it was a challenge compared to most other racing games we played then. The multiplayer (local) was fun af too.
i like this game still feels like classic driver maybe because this is one of my first PS2 games with Tenchu Fatal Shadows but I wont defend it , it does HAVE issues both on PC and ps2 emulation
I can't sing enough praise about Trepang², this game has everything i needed in a shooter: excellent gameplay and options for different playing styles, a decent story, gunplay and gun sounds that just make me swoon, a kickass soundtrack, and yeah, some decent horror moments too. This game be my happy pill
More ambitious than anything done today
They set up a reaply cool franchise and setting with this game but unfortunately, i find it totally unplayable. It NEEDS a remake. Bad. But killzone 2 and 3 really bounced back and are both great games. This was no halo killer tho. Isnt even close to Black on ps2
